In Need Of A Little 'Time Out' This Early Summer...?
Come Along To The Countryside With Us
For The Young Jains Residential Retreat
Friday 18th to Sunday 20th May 2007
The Abbey, Sutton Courtenay, Oxfordshire

Jai Jinendra!

Early this summer, twenty of us from Young Jains are heading out to the Oxfordshire countryside.

During this dynamic weekend together, we'll be working together to develop a clear understanding of the essential elements of Jain Dharma, and how they apply to our everyday life.

Would you like to be one of the twenty attending the retreat?

There'll be the learning, and of course plenty of playtime, walks in the fresh air, getting creative in the kitchen, and time just to sit, relax, and contemplate on applying Jain lessons into our daily lives.

The Abbey, Sutton Courtenay, Oxfordshire

We'll be departing from Kenton Library (near Harrow, North West London) at 10am on Friday 18th May, and returning to NW London by 8pm on Sunday 20th May.

The weekend will be spent at The Abbey, a beautiful Grade 1 listed, medieval building that has a stillness and receptivity about it, which is ideal for the purpose of this retreat.

Taking Care Of Mind, Body & Spirit

Spanning across two and a half days of mind, body, and spiritual nourishment, this is your opportunity to immerse yourself in sessions that explore the foundations and lifestyle application of Jain Dharma, amongst a group of twenty curious and creative individuals just like you.

Fun Activities, New Friends

Take some time out to make new friends, build on existing friendships, and have fun within a playful setting where we will cook together, play games, and walk in nature.

Move Forward With Clarity Of Purpose

Make the most of this time as well, to spend moments alone, reflecting on what's important to you, and how to move forward from this weekend, with a sense of calmness, clarity and defined purpose.

Walking in the Fields
Hang Out With Your Kind Of People

At this retreat, you'll be immersed in sessions alongside other Young Jains members, active supporters and even members of the committee.

Generally in the 18-35 age range (whilst welcoming the youngsters and the more familiar faces), see what challenges these other guys face in their lives, and learn about how they go about addressing them.
